Claw Beaker - A 6th Century Find from Mucking, Essex

This stunning claw beaker was discovered in Mucking, Essex, England, and dates back to the 6th century. The body is adorned with multiple decorative claws, complemented by an exterior design reminiscent of a notched trail. Near the rim, a band featuring a zigzag pattern adds an extra touch of intricacy.

The beaker is supported by a slightly elevated foot, providing excellent stability. The original find was in light green glass, while we offer this exquisite replica in a beautiful light blue hue. Despite some minor cracked areas, the piece remains largely intact, showcasing the remarkable craftsmanship of its time.
